The SA Screen Industry Council represents the South Australian screen industry. It is an elected Council comprised of members of the SA film, video and digital media community.
The Council provides a voice for the industry advocating on its behalf and formulates strategies that assist the growth and development of the screen industry in South Australia.
The objects of the South Australian Screen Industry Council are:
- to represent the South Australian screen-based industries and to foster their further growth
- to advocate in order that support for South Australian key creatives (producers, writers, directors, cinematographers and designers) is given precedence by relevant South Australian government support agencies.
SASIC recognises that the SA screen industry is very diverse and is comprised of both emerging and established practitioners working across a variety of forms and genres. It aims to work with the various sectors in order to build a sustainable and vibrant screen industry in South Australia.
We are passionate about representing the local industry and encourage members of the South Australian screen industries to join.
