In December 2009 the SAFC invited SASIC and the MRC to join them on a visit to the Glenside site with Adelaide Film and Screen Centre architects and builders. Included in the tour were some of the experienced Heads of Department (HODs) who have been involved in the consultation so far. We are pleased to report that development work on the site has begun!
SASIC welcomes the opportunities that the new site brings to our industry and community. However we do understand that an ongoing dialogue is important both with the SAFC and the industry's HODs during the building and development of the site.
There will be a meeting on Saturday March 13th between SASIC and those HODs who have been involved so far. If members have any points or questions they would like to raise in the meantime please let us know and we will take this to the table. SASIC can be contacted on info@sasic.com.au
